While that was in Belize City today, another woman was violently robbed in Belmopan yesterday - but this case was even more bizarre. Maya Mopan resident 22 year old Rosa Choco was riding her bicycle on the central walkway near the Civic Center around 8:00 last night. She was with her brother and sister when a man ran up to her, slapped her in the face, shot her in the right leg and rode off with her bicycle. Belmopan police have 1 Roaring Creek man in custody.
