Bragging Rights On The Line For 2015 Volleyball Nationals

Today, 12 primary school volleyball teams from across the country competed in the 2015 Nationals Tournament.

The dozen had each won at the district level, and today;s competition was for the national title. 7News stopped by this morning for the opening of the tournament to see how the match ups looked. Here's what the National Sports Coordinator had to say:

And, after all 6 district males and females competed against each other, it was a battle between the south for this year's bragging rights. The male and female teams from coming from Stann Creek and Toledo were ones who made it in the finals.

Holy Angels Primary from Dangriga won for the females while St. Matthews Primary won for the males. These representatives from Stann Creek defeated the male and female teams from Toledo.

The male and female hosts from Belize Elementary School came in third.
