He dragged her into a nearby orange orchard where she was beaten, raped and robbed of $372.00 and her cell phone. Police have one man detained.
On December 11th, at the same 6 mile junction, a pregnant woman was raped, also during the daytime. In that case, her assailant had a grey shirt tied over his nose and mouth. He put a knife to her throat and raped her. No one was arrested for this crime.
