The Coast Guard are reporting tonight that they rescued 4 civilians who were stranded at sea near Colson Caye.
The captain of the vessel "Jah Real" started to experience engine failure, and try as he might, he couldn't get it started. He then radioed to the authorities for help, and the Coast Guard were then activated. A Quick Response Team, made up of Petty officers Daniel Sabido, Arthur Garbutt, Trevor Vasquez, and Seaman Osman Alcoser, moved off with haste to come to their aid.
The vessel was located, and the Coast Guard brought them to mainland, where they landed safely.
