Police have charged the man who shot at a 17 year old boy. The shooting happened yesterday evening around 5 on Mopan Street. The 17 year old was standing outside his Ebony Street house with his sister when a man pulled up and pulled out a gun. The teenager ran and the gunman chased him on Mopan Street, firing several shots at him. The boy got away unharmed and asked some officers who were at a checkpoint on Vernon Street for help. Police arrested and charged 24 year old Alston Smith with Aggravated Assault. Police say this shooting is as a result of a gang rivalry in that area.
