Primary School Footballers, Playing Like Pro’s
posted (June 9, 2016)
Primary school footballers got to play like the pro's today, on artificial turf at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan.

It's the National Primary School Championship Competition featuring the top two teams from each district, one male and one female. According to the acting president of FBB Marlon Kuylen, competitions like these are necessary to hone the skills of our future football stars. The CEO for Sustainable Development also made mention of the importance of promoting gender equality within the sports realm. Here are a few of their comments at a brief opening ceremony before the start of the competition.

At the conclusion of today's games only four teams will move on to the semifinals. Those games will be played tomorrow.
