Woman Makes Claims Against Seine Bight Cops
posted (September 26, 2016)
We first met Laverne Arzu of Seine Bight village in 2013 when she alleged that that police confiscated her pick up for 4 months without authority. Since then, Arzu claims that her troubles with the police have not gone away.

This time, Arzu claims that one of the wheels from her truck were unjustly taken by the police. But there are two sides to every story. First, here's what Laverne Arzu had to say.

Laverne Arzu, "Police took my wheel"
"I am here because on the 8th of September the police from Placencia came to my house and take off my wheel from my truck. When I asked the policeman what happened, Inspector Miles, he said "Oh, it's Denmark, it's Augustin. He got a report from the chairman stating that he lend somebody a wheel and I have the wheel. I told him I don't have any dealing with you because nobody gave me any wheel. And then they go on and take off the wheel off my truck."

And now for the other side of this story. We spoke to Inspector Miles earlier today and he told us that the wheels police seized were loaned to Arzu by the village chairman so that she could transport a dead body. According to the inspector, the chairman filed a report because Arzu would not return the wheels after the body was delivered.
