"The leader of the opposition is misinformed or is just not telling the truth. He should know better than that because what we have right now is already worth over 400 million dollars. The company is worth that with the building, the property, the machinery, the equipment, the train stop, we already own that in assets but the point to remember is that if you add all the profits that they would have made between 2009 when we took over to 2025, you get it from the Price Water House evaluation, their evaluation. It's the profits now for them which is 1 billion, 384 million. All that would have gone to them and gone abroad. Now that is staying in Belize and is for the Belizean people because 63% goes to the government and is spent on the people and the country, the social security board will get the other 20% which makes it 83%. Then central bank has 8%, that's 91% and 9% goes to the Belizean public so its 100% of that billion dollars that goes to the people of Belize. Therefore we took from them 1.3 billion dollars and now that stays at home. Even if the price were to be doubled, we would still be ahead of them, let them study that."
