Most adults know the basics of mixing a drink like rum and coke or a screwdriver. But, there is so much more to mixing drinks than you probably know and that is what owner of Belize Institute of Mixology Luis Velasquez is trying to teach aspiring bartenders through his hands on courses. The training was split in two: the beginners session which was held for 3 days and then there was the 7 week advanced bartender training which concluded today at Spoonaz. We dropped by to see what fancy drinks they were serving up.
There were 15 participants in the advanced training. As you heard Velasquez also helps these participants get a job after the training.
