Child Burn Victims Receiving Treatment
posted (October 11, 2016)
Last Friday, two young children were airlifted to Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston, Texas after receiving major burn wounds to 90% of their bodies. Since then, the children, Ian and Empress, have been getting treatment for infections, surgery to replace their damaged skin, and dialysis while their kidneys recover from the burns. While nothing is for certain, the doctors at Shriners are reaming optimistic about the children's chances. And while Ian and Empress are getting the best treatment possible, they will have to receive treatment for their wounds for the rest of their lives, and donations are needed. Donations can be made to the Burn Victim's Mercy Fund at Belize Bank account 695-01-1-52111.
