Paumen mentioned that Modiri was involved in some shady business back in the US. He handed us some documents connecting Modiri to the prostitution industry. So, we called Modiri and he gave us his side of the story, which involved one of Paumen's partners in this very, very tangled web...
Michael Modiri - Refutes Paumen's Claims
"One of those properties which was tens of millions of dollars valued was a huge building in Washington DC. I did not buy it. I couldn't afford it as it was like 18 million dollars to buy that building. So, I leased it. Subsequently, subleased it to a business who owned and operated by Haun Park who is now some sort of a partner. They keep saying partner but I haven't seen any business they run together but they are saying that they have a business relationship and they are the ones who conspired to plant a gun in my vehicle. They are the ones who conspired to have me and 4 other people murdered. She ran a business there and I was the lease holder. She got into some legal problems and since I was the finance, the person sued me because they knew that they could get easier money from me or they thought they could get easer money from me and I was held responsible because I was the land lease holder and they won because in the lease it was specifically and there was an item that I wasn't allowed to sublease it without the land owners permission. So, I now hold to right to sublease it to her business and her business went down therefore, as she went bankrupt she closed down and left and I was left holding the bag financially not for any allegation or in any involvement in owning the business or running it or anything in that nature. It was Mr. Paumen's partner who was doing the illegal activity."
