Belmopan police caught a sack of weed coming down from Benque Viejo last night. The Capital's Quick Response Team chased the vehicle with Benque plates from the Roaring Creek junction to St. Margaret's village. In the process, the passengers threw out the sack of marijuana. While police stopped to pick up the weed, the men in the car dashed off. Police are seeking two suspects but have the car and the weed - which weighed in at 25 pounds. Arenal is a known transit point for marijuana coming from Guatemala into Belize.
