Last night we told you about the very initial reports of a body found in a remote area of the Cayo District. Well, tonight, police have confirmed that it is murder. They say 60 year old caretaker Manuel Armando Medrano was killed by strangulation on the farm where he worked. His body was found wrapped in a blanket in an area one mile behind Ontario Village on the Young Gial Road. Police say there were no signs of robbery or theft - and they have no motive and no suspect. Medrano is a Belizean from Buena Vista. A post mortem was conducted on site and his remains were handed over to his family members who live in San Ignacio.
