Defence Minister John Saldivar has been busy since being re-instated from a Cabinet suspension, but he's not to0 media friendly - so often, when he has events, we only get pictures, sort of like postcards from the political edge. That's surely the case fro yesterday's Coast Guard Christmas Luncheon and End of Year Award ceremony. Saldivar presented various awards to outstanding officers and concluded happily, quote, "This year has been a great year for the Security Forces of Belize."
