The Belize Protectors are back. The team of law enforcement officers left Belize last Thursday to participate in the Baker to Vegas Competition. The Belize Protectors competed with 300 teams in a 120 mile, 20 leg relay race. Last year, the Belize team placed 6th overall in the competition, and this time they did even better. The Protectors made good on their intensive training and managed to bring home the bronze, placing 3rd overall.
We'll speak to the team tomorrow about their performance and how they plan to tackle the race next year.
