21 year old Belmopan resident Norval Belisle was killed in September of 2012 when he was trying to break up a fight. Today, the man accused of his murder went home a free man. The judge, Justice Antoinette Moore found that because police were unable to conduct an ID Parade with Wilhelm Gillett. He refused to participate in an ID parade after he had been held for more than 48 hours. This is after eyewitnesses testified that they saw him stab Belisle with a broken pint in the neck.
