Boots Bothered By Cancellation of Diplomatic Visa
posted (June 1, 2017)
But, as Briceno correctly pointed out, revoking a diplomatic Visa is quite severe. And, for once, his UDP opponent Boots Martinez agrees with him. Yesterday he told us that it does bother him that Castro, his Cabinet colleague was stripped in that fashion:

Hon. Anthony Martinez
"The reasons would bother me. Like why would you want to revoke a diplomatic visa? I could understand the ordinary visa, but a diplomatic visa to me is a slap in the face. That is just my view."

Jules Vasquez, 7News
"You think that its deliberate way to send a message to your government to say "we the Americans who are very much against human trafficking are not happy with the performance of the Barrow administration" and they feel that the Barrow administration has facilitated human trafficking with this visa business and nationality business?"

Hon. Anthony Martinez
"Well I don't know about that at all. I don't know what message they are trying to send and obviously you know the US Embassy is always tight-lip about not want to disclose. But for me, it's just as a minister of government - I just find it taken aback by having one of your colleague visa been taken away."

Martinez says he doesn't worry about his own visa - you can hear why in tomorrow's news.
