He's a senior citizen, but police say he is also a pedophile.
Today 65 year old Francisco Figueroa appeared in the Magistrate's Court and was charged with sexual assault. Figueroa is accused of kissing and molesting a six year old girl. He pled not guilty to the charges, but the prosecutor objected to bail on the grounds that Figueroa is a Guatemalan national and is a flight risk. The prosecutor also asked that the age of the victim be taken into consideration, and that Figueroa may interfere with the child or witnesses if released. Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith accepted the objection, and remanded Figueroa into police custody until September 4.
