Last night 24 year old Wasan Avila was socializing with a friend on the far end of Jasmine Street when two men approached them on bicycles. One of the men pulled out a hand gun and opened fire. Avila's friend escaped unharmed, but he was shot in the back and arm. Avila was rushed to the KHMH and was released in stable condition earlier today. ACP Chester Williams told us what they know so far....
So far, police believe that the assailants intended to rob Avila and his friend.
