Yesterday, Guatemalan chef, Axel Ibarra, was taken to the hospital after being brutally beaten in his Roaring Creek home. Ibarra told police that at 4:30 that morning, he was in his bedroom when two men known to him as Jose Juarez and Richard Trapp, broke in and began to punch and chop him. Ibarra eventually fell to the ground and Trapp stamped him in the face several times. The men searched his pockets and took $400 before leaving. Both men are from St. Matthews Village, and police have detained them for questioning.
