The first happened in Ontario Village in the Cayo District where at 11:30 on Wednesday night, 60-year-old farmer HUGH LAMB, was awakened by the sound of a woman calling him. It turned out to be a nightmare encounter with this woman who he knew. It ended when she ran into his room, grabbed his double barrel shotgun, and ran outside and met two men. One of them clubbed Hugh Lamb in his head with a metal pipe. They ran off, firing shots at him with his own gun. He was unhurt and police are investigating.

And yesterday evening in the San Pablo area of san Pedro, 53-year-old KELLI RICO, and her father 75-year-old DOYLE HARRIS got home at 6:30 and were about to have supper when a man kicked opened their door and pointed a handgun at them. Shortly after a woman entered and took her fathers two diamond rings, a gold necklace and two knives all to a total value of almost $15,000.
