7 weeks ago, we told you about the robbery and shooting of 42 year-old Ernest Raymond. He was robbed of his firearm in Dangriga. He attempted to defend himself with his licensed weapon, which is when he was shot and that gun was stolen.
Well, police charged 33 year-old Nisani Garcia 18 days ago, but tonight, he's out on Supreme Court bail after spending 2 weeks in jail.
Garcia's attorney, Simeon Sampson, went before Justice Adolph Lucas today to make an application for bail. After hearing from Garcia's attorney and Crown Counsel Janelle Tillett, Justice Lucas granted him bail of $7,500.
Police had charged him with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and aggravated assault.
