posted (December 12, 2017)
And up the street at Calvary Temple Primary School, the students also got a taste of Christmas today. The City Council provided lunch and a gift for 145 students. We dropped by this afternoon.

Phillip Singh, Councilor
"This came about 3 months ago I decided that last year we did Bethel school so I said we needed to go to another school, one of the schools that needed a little support from anyone and as a part of Mesopotamia division I realize that there was a school in this little corner that it seems everyone has forgotten so I decided we would do Calvary Temple this year."

Georgett Wright, Principal, Calvary Temple
"It is an initiative that we certainly welcome. I think the kids are quite grateful for what they will be given they will be given food and a gift and I'm certain they will be happy and thankful as this might be the only gift they receive for the Christmas."

Calvary School also got some treats yesterday from another organization.
