Badman Bus’ Shot On BBOC Bus
posted (December 19, 2017)
Last night BBOC commuters got a scare when an armed passenger fired a shot on the bus. They were on their usual run after 6:15 when they stopped for two men at a dark curve on the highway in Camalote. The two men hopped on and instead of finding a seat, one of them pulled out a gun, snatched the female conductor's purse with money and then fired a shot at the roof of the bus. They then scrambled off the bus. BBOC Chairman Albert Pinkard says they will have to take more precaution on the road.

"Well, unfortunately we had a robbery of the bus where a gunshot was fired, luckily no one got hurt and I think they went off with the fortune of the day."

"How much was that?"

Albert Pinkard, Chairman, BBOC
"Not sure as yet we haven't gotten an estimate we are still waiting for a report from the station to confirm."

"So what was the situation is it that they stopped at some location in Camalote and the two came on the bus?"

Albert Pinkard, Chairman, BBOC
"Well actually at the bus stop in Camalote they had passed there and saw two persons on a curve and the driver decided to pick everyone that they didn't want to leave and while one passenger put the gun at the driver, I think it was just in the air and fired a shot through the bus roof."

"We are looking to being safer on the highway also to let commuters know that in this time it will be hard for us the bus owners and operators to pick up passengers who are not at designated bus stops we need to have everyone gathered together so we can make some safer road pick ups and have all passengers for better safety on the bus."

According to the police report, the men ran off with over $200. Pinkard urges commuters to wait at designated bus stops to try and avoid incidents like these. But then again, a bus operator can never know who they are picking up at any stop.
