Police refuse to admit that the prime suspect in the murder of Jaime Pelayo has escaped. They say he is still at large - but refuse to put out a wanted poster - even he has been positively identified.
As we have reported, he was in custody up until Sunday evening - and was expected to be charged on Monday morning.
Investigators believe he is the one who fired a shotgun at three men last week Friday morning at an Orange Walk night spot. the blast killed Jaime Pelayo - who’d had a number of run in’s with police.
