A man shot at his girlfriend and their child on New Year’s Day. It happened in Burrell Boom. Camila Terry was driving on the Boom road with her baby and two other passengers when someone from another vehicle drove up and opened fire. She leaned over to protect her child. Well turns out, the father of her child â€" well known street figure 31 year old Brandon Tillett  A.K.A “BETâ€￾ was charged in connection with this shooting. He was charged with aggravated assault when he appeared today before the Chief Magistrate, Sharon Fraser. Tillett pled not guilty to the charge. Here is what police had to say at yesterday’s press briefing.

"We had the incident yesterday at Burrell Boom where one Camilla Terry reported that she was driving on the Boom Road along with two other male persons when she observed that she was being followed by golden color vehicle. As a result of that she heard several shots being fired; she took over herself and the other person inside of the vehicle and a result she manage to reach the Ladyville Police Station where she made a report. Also she was informed other male persons had received injuries who were coming behind her vehicle in a separate vehicle."

 

Tillett was remanded into custody until February 2^nd.
