Earlier, we told you about a 52 year old driver who was killed in an accident in the north - and, there was another 52 year old who lost his life in an accident in the South.
Yesterday evening at around 6:30, a coast guardsman knocked down and killed 52 year old Phillip Diego who was riding a bicycle on the Stann Creek Valley Road.
It happened between miles 10 and 11 where 26 year old Jerry David was driving a Honda Civic northbound when he says he was blinded by the lights of an oncoming vehicle. He didn't see Diego on his bicycle and knocked him down. The Pomona Villager was flung across the pavement and died on the spot.
Police have given David a Notice of Intended Prosecution.
