Today police gave the media a general update on several cases. Those include Jermaine Vellos who was shot and killed in front of his Belama Phase 2 house, Leon Garcia who was stabbed on New Years Day on Barrack Road and Frederick Smith who was killed on New Years Eve on Iguana Street Extension. Here is what police had to say.

"For Jermaine Vellos and Mr. Charles Foreman one person is in custody. He is being questioned at the moment. Reference the murder of Mr. Leon Garcia we know that we several person detained this weekend however we had release them after the investigation."

"And Smith? Nothing there?"

"With Fredrick Smith we are still looking for another suspect that can assist us in that investigation. We have dealt with one of them but so far we are looking for another one."
