Residents of San Victor village in the Corozal District will be getting access to clean fresh water tomorrow. And more than that, they will get it with a high tech solar water pump.
Government with funding from the Caribbean Development Bank upgraded and expanded the water system. Water will be available for over 200 homes, school, and churches. The total cost of the project was $831 thousand dollars.
The solar powered pump will be able to utilize two days of sunlight to fill the tank.
