But what does the senior minister think about the PM declaring his intention to run another term? As you would recall, Briceno and Fonseca have contested PUP leadership in national conventions in 2008 and again in 2016 where Briceno was successful. How does he feel that they may be going for a third term under the Briceno leadership?

" I fully support the Prime Minister, as our party leader. No, that's a political question. As I've said, I don't think we should have dealt with third term. So we just got elected last year. We have a lot of work ahead of us. The country faces a lot of challenges. But there is absolutely no question about the fact that as a party, and as a cabinet, we fully support our party leader, John Briceno, we fully support him as our prime minister and or party leader. And if he decides to, to run, for a third term, I certainly will support him."
