Belizean Killed in California Accident

There are three “bad news” stories coming out of California involving Belizeans men. The first is a traffic fatality. Thirty six year old Orrin Pierre Casey left Belize fifteen years ago and since that time he has been living and working in Fontana, California. But early yesterday morning the life of came to a tragic end.

He was knocked off his motorcycle by a car driven by a ninety four year old man. According to a CBS news report coming out of Los Angeles, the accident happened when Casey was on his 2002 Suzuki bike approaching a parking area and a ford focus pulled out. Orrin Casey was thrown onto the roadway while his bike went further smashing other vehicles before toppling over.

Orrin Pierre Casey was pronounced dead at the riverside community hospital. Orrin Pierre Casey is the son of former postmaster Alfonso Casey and Marion Casey a psychiatric nurse in Belmopan. He is also survived by two sisters both of Belmopan.
