Tue, November 24, 2009

From as far back as July the Prime Minister named a commission of inquiry to investigate the allegation of corrupt practices at the KHMH. And tonight, after a lengthy preliminary process including most centrally an audit, the commission is ready to commence public hearings. The hearings start this Thursday morning at 9:00 at the Belize Institute Of Management in Belize City. All hearings will be open to the public but the schedule has not been announced.

The commission is chaired by Justice Adolph Lucas with membership of Orvin Nicholas the nominee from the Trade Union Congress and Julia Castillo the nominee of the Ministry of Health.
