Cabinet Decides to Open School in Belama
Tue, January 5, 2010

Cabinet met in Belmopan today and there’s some good news for residents of the Belama area. There’s been a decision to open a primary school in that expanding part of Belize City. And while the decision is there, not much else is known as the Ministry of Education is finding the funds for and trying to identify a piece of land for this school.

In other news, Cabinet has tasked the Minister of Agriculture to meet with the members of the Belize Sugar Cane Farmers Association. The association’s leadership has been calling out for a meeting to adre4ss the multiple ills currently befalling the industry.
