| Carl Pickwoad is tonight's lucky lotto winner for Wednesday night's lottery draw. The 33 year old businessman walked into to Tropical Gaming this afternoon to pick up his cheque of seventy seven thousand, five hundred dollars. For him, it was something unexpected but nonetheless he said it couldn't have come at a better time. He told us how those lucky digits were chosen.

"It was just a quick-pick we bought a long time ago, had it in my wallet, I found it and decided to buy it again."

"When did you first found out you won the lotto?"
Carl Pickwoad
"Thursday morning actually, called and I found out. Well one of my employees was checking it for me and we found out that we won it. Tried to keep it on the down low but then I found out I have to go on the media."
Monica Bodden
"So what was the feeling like when you found out you won?"
Carl Pickwoad
"I was happy; I mean it comes in these hard times."
Monica Bodden
"You have any plans at this time what you're going to do with that 77, well after taxes it's 65 thousand nuh?"
Carl Pickwoad
"Well mostly it's to help my dad pay bills and a savings as well."
Monica Bodden
"Do you encourage other people to buy lotto and get into it?"
Carl Pickwoad
"Well of course, I mean it's a chance to better yourself you know, I mean its lotto.
Are you a regular lotto buyer? I won't say regular, but time to time yea, you know, on and off."
The lucky lotto numbers are 7, 11, 14, 24 and 25. After taxes were deducted, Pickwoad walked away with sixty five thousand, eight hundred and seventy five dollars.
