| 17 Year Old Cyclist Killed In Cayo |

| There was a tragic road accident this evening in the Cayo district. Preliminary reports say that at around 5:00 pm, 17 year old junior cyclist Christopher Chuc was knocked down and killed by a driver near central farm.
Chuc was training at the time.
Other details of the accident are not known at this time.
We do know that Chuc was an ambitious young cyclist for the Cayo high road team who had represented Belize competently in the recently concluded juniour tour of Guatemala. That team brought back the sprinters jersey for the country.
