Wayne Rock Remanded
Thu, November 11, 2010
Twenty four year old Wayne Rock, one of three men the police believe was involved in a shooting incident, was charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault with a firearm when he appeared today in the number one Magistrate's court.

Rock pleaded not guilty to the charges but was denied bail because it is a firearm offence.

The incident occurred around 5:20 P.M. on Tuesday, November 9th. Twenty seven year old Austin Stevens, a supervisor for the Ministry of Works reported to the police that he and his brother, Jermaine Stevens, were riding their bicycles on Curl Thompson street when three men came running from out a yard.

One of the men had a small revolver while the other two had machetes. Stevens said the gunman fired four shots at him and his brother, but missed.
