Over the weekend the Belize Police Department conducted Promotional Exams countrywide to fill vacancies in the ranks of Corporals, Sergeants and Inspectors. A total of 527 personnel from the ranks of Constable to Sergeant applied to sit the Exams - of these 470 officers actually sat, representing a little more than 33% of the actual strength of the Department.
And as a part of the 16 days of activism against gender based violence, the Belize Police Department will be hosting an open day at the various head District Stations from 9:00am to 4:00pm tomorrow. In Belize City the Open Day will be held at the Queen Street Police Station.
