| A man was killed in a hit and run accident last night on the western highway. Around 10, police were alerted to an accident scene between miles two and three on the Western highway - where they saw the lifeless body of 35 year old Harris Fred Flores- a construction worker of a Jane Usher Boulevard Adress in Belize City.
Flores was lying on the side of the road with a massive gash across his head. Information gathered at the scene suggests that Flores was riding when he was struck from behind by a vehicle that did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
