| Bze Basketball Gets Off To Rough Start In Puerto Rico |

Belize's male under 17 national basketball team is in Puerto Rico tonight having played its first game in the Centro Basket U-17 Championship tournament.
And after game one, the news is not great. This afternoon in the opening game of the tournament, Belize was soundly defeated by the Bahamas, 98 to 79.
And it gets no easier. The team's next game is scheduled for tomorrow at 4:00 against Panama and on Friday, they face Mexico.
The top two teams from each group advance to the semi-final round.
