C'ecile In Belize
Thu, August 18, 2011
She made touchdown this afternoon at the PGIA in true -bad gyal- style. We're taking about Jamaican reggae artist Cecile. The reggae songstress is in Belize for a one night performance at the Tropicana Lounge. It is her third trip to Belize and Saturday night will make it her fourth concert here. 7news was at the airport.

Cecile
"Belize is somewhere I like. Every Jamaican artist loves Belize because it sounds like us. I love the place. It's just crazy because every time I've been here so far the shows have been crazy and the people who been there will tell you but now I have so many new songs that is doing crazy here like 'groupie' and 'rise up' and 'when you're gone'. I am so excited, I have at least 10 new songs that they never seen me perform before. So it's going to be excited. I am going to just mash up the place and have fun, so all my ladies and men just come out. We are going to have fun - and clean sexy fun. I just have an album that is release in Europe today. It's not release in Jamaica or the rest of the world yet, except on iTunes digitally; it's called 'Jamaicanization' so for anybody who is interested they can look out for that."

"I've been touring, my fans know that I am very huge in Europe and I actually just come back on Tuesday then I came to Belize and I am doing all my work going around and spreading the Cecile love and the Cecile kind of music."

"Channel 7 big up 'uself', remember August 20 Cecile is in the place so make sure you come out."

The concert is on Saturday night at the Tropicana Lounge. Tickets are 35 dollars in advance and 40 at the door.
