30 year-old Shane Vargas, a mason residing on Mirage Road in Ladyville, was today arraigned in the courtroom of Magistrate Hettie Mae Stuart for theft.
It is alleged that on January 29, he broke into a BDF housing site in Lords Bank and stole male and female Rottweiler dogs valued at $1,200 dollars each, which are the property of Deborah Baptist - Estrada.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail of $2,000, which he met this afternoon.
He is expected to return to court on March 8.
