New Bze Visas Already Forged; Two Caught

And while that is just one of the many areas of dubious Immigration practices that Minister Hulse is trying to regularize - it's often a case of one step up and one step back.

Proof of that came today when two persons of Indian descent - a male and a female - arrived at the PGIA airport with bogus Belizean Visas. They are currently detained and are expected to be charged tomorrow.

There is no official information at this time, but the discovery has caused some alarm to senior officials at the Immigration Department because this is the first time they have seen forgers try to copy the new Belizean visas. These were recently re-designed with security features to make them more difficult to copy - but the forgers are already stepping up their game.
