| Patrick Andrews; Now a PUP Standard Bearer |

Patrick Jason Andrews, he's known well, as the co-host on Plus TV's Rise and Shine, but tonight, the nation gets to know him as the new standard bearer for the People's United Party for the Belmopan.
He announced his candidacy today, and he got the blessing of the party as well. He sent out a release saying, quote, "As a member of the Peoples United Party and a resident of the City of Belmopan, I, Patrick Jason Andrews, hereby officially announce my candidacy for Standard Bearer, Peoples United Party (PUP)…" End quote.
It is important to note that Andrews is currently facing a libel suit as a party along with his co-host, and co-owner of Plus TV, Louis Wade. And interestingly, the man who's pressing this lawsuit is his opponent from the UDP, the current Belmopan Area Representative, and the Minister of National Security, John Saldivar.
