20 year-old prison inmate Trevor Jones will spend 6 years in prison after he was busted with 8 ounces of weed in jail.
A prison officer searched his tennis shoes this morning and found a total of 8.25 ounces of marijuana in 2 separate parcels. As a result he was charged with 2 counts of drug trafficking, which he pleaded guilty to when he was arraigned before Senior Magistrate Frazer.
She sentenced him to pay fines to a total of 6 years in prison, and he must pay $20,000 by October 31, or he will serve an additional 6 years which will run concurrently.
