53 year-old Merdardo Cocom is out on bail tonight after he was taken to court for indecent assault.
According to a 15 year-old female, last week Friday, Cocom caressed her chest. As a result, he was charged with aggravated assault of an indecent nature, and he was arraigned today before Chief Magistrate Ann-Marie Smith.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge, and he was granted bail of $1,000, which he was able to meet. He must return to court on December 2.
