While his name was being called in the Supreme Court today, police commissioner Allen Whylie was in Belmopan receiving a major donation from his department's minister John Saldivar.

Saldivar handed over 46 Meilun Trail bikes, along with helmets.  He also threw in two Nissan Navarro pickup Trucks – all valued at over a quarter million dollars.

No word yet on where the motorbikes will be deployed.
