And, finally tonight, we close with news of a UDP political convention that caused a lot some fall out in the UDP. Yesterday in Stann Creek West ?2134 ballots were cast and Melvin Hulse emerged victorious with 1223?votes while Alexander Romero had 882. The interesting part is that Delroy Cuthkelvin who boycotted the convention at the last minute got only 19 votes. He said the party had unfairly taken his voters off the approved list. He couldn't be reached for comment today. |
