This morning at the Belize House in Belmopan, three men were officially appointed to the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire on the occasion of the New Year Honours 2014.

 They are the FCD's Rafael Manzanero for his contribution to Environmental Protection; the KHMH's Chief of Staff, Dr. Adrian Coye for his contribution to Medicine and both Manzanero and Dr. Coye received the insignia of Ordinary Officers of the Civil Division

The public service commission's Rodney Harold Neal received the insignia of Ordinary Member of the Civil Division for his contribution to the Public Service.
