| Tomorrow is World Blood Donors day, and to note its importance the Ministry of health held a blood drive in which the Chief Executive Officers and the Senior Managers all donated blood on Tuesday.
The country's blood bank is always in need of more donors, and at that blood drive, the organizers explained why the senior staff volunteered to donate:
This year, the theme is "Safe Blood for Saving Mothers" The focus is on pregnancy and child birth and the need for blood during these phases of the mothers' life.
