| Man Accused of Inappropriate Relations With Underage Female |

Tonight, 23 year-old Caye Caulker Resident Luis Alberto Barrera continues to face a sexual assault charge after he allegedly took advantage of a 15 year-old girl.
Police say that the young lady and her mother visited the station on Monday afternoon and reported that this man has been having intercourse with her for the past six month on 5 different occasions at different locations in the village. A medical examination was conducted on her which certified that she was carnally known.
Police have since investigated the girls report, and they've charged Barrera with 5 counts of unlawful sexual intercourse. He has since been arraigned at the San Pedro Magistrate's Court.
